Linen clothing:
– allows your skin to breathe as much as possible because linen is a breathable fabric. Linen dresses are therefore the perfect option for dressing in hot weather;
– linen’s ability to maintain a uniform body temperature in winter makes linen clothing pleasantly warm;
– durable;
– comfortable;
– excellent absorption of sweat and moisture, so the skin does not shrink;
– antibacterial properties;
– natural, suitable for people with allergies, especially children;
– non-electric;
– UV protection.
MAINTENANCE OF LINEN GARMENTS
– Wash linen garments at a maximum temperature of 40°C by hand or in the washing machine (short, gentle wash and spin programme). For the first wash only, we recommend water at 30°C. Do not use detergents containing chlorine and avoid bleach for coloured linen.
– We recommend that you straighten your washed and still damp linen, hang it on a hanger or stretch it horizontally and leave it to dry, but don’t over-dry it, otherwise it will be difficult to iron. Avoid direct sunlight when drying.
– The unique structure of the linen fabric means it wrinkles quickly. To avoid this, do not overload the washing machine or wring linen clothes before drying.
– Iron with a hot iron while still wet on the wrong side (to avoid shine), moisturise with steam, use special ironing products.
– Linen garments become softer, softer and less wrinkled with each wash.

Natural silk, silk care
Hand wash/machine wash – no more than 30°C on silk or delicates setting. A final rinse with vinegar is recommended to restore the silk’s shine.
Bleaching is prohibited. Use only natural fabric softeners for silk.
Drying in an electric dryer is prohibited. Wring washed clothes gently by hand, do not shake wet fabric.
Comparison can only be made from the reverse side at low temperature. Steam may be used.
Occasionally it is advisable to air the fabric in a cool room (e.g. -20°C). This cold kills the eggs of moths, which are extremely fond of natural materials.
Regular airing of clothes leaves no odour and washing can be postponed for up to 2 weeks!
Remember that silk fibres are weakened by sweat, deodorants and direct sunlight. Cosmetics containing alcohol (perfume, hair and nail polish, etc.) are harmful to the silk fabric.

Gabardine
Gabardine is not the composition of the fabric, but its special weaving, which makes the fabric quite dense, matt, lightweight, good drape and soft. It is a practical and versatile material. A garment may become unfashionable, but the fabric itself will still look immaculate even after a long time.
Why choose gabardine:
– durable, practical and strong;
– minimal creasing;
– breathable;
– keeps its shape well;
– no wrinkling, bubbling, creasing;
– easy care: washes well, irons well;
– does not stretch or shrink after washing;
– does not fade;
– long-lasting – the fabric’s appearance, colour and characteristics last for many years.
CARE: Machine wash reversed at 30˚ for synthetic fabrics; do not tumble dry; iron reversed on low heat or through another fabric to preserve the matt texture.
