In order for the jewelry to keep its shine longer, the color of the metals unchanged, not to rust or lose its original beauty in any other way, follow a few important rules:

  • Avoid contact of jewelry with chemicals. Always remove jewelry when cleaning your home or using any chemical products. They can severely damage and irreversibly damage the surface of metals and stones.
  • Put on jewelry only after all beauty procedures. Cosmetics, creams or lotions, perfumery, hair care products (hairspray, etc.) can strongly affect the surface of jewelry and affect changes in their appearance. Even if you think that, for example, perfume will not harm you if you do not spray it directly on the jewelry, you are wrong. Their falling dust will always settle on the jewelry.
  • Protect from moisture. Do not wash your hands, bathe, go to the sauna, etc. with the jewelry. Do not store jewelry in damp areas such as the bathroom. Do not clean the jewelry with a damp cloth or wash it with water. Use a dry, soft tissue.
  • Protect from heat and direct sunlight. Do not store jewelry on windowsills or other well-lit areas (such as vanity tables, chests of drawers, shelves, etc.). Remove jewelry before sunbathing.
  • Store jewelry in original boxes or other boxes, cloth bags, where there is enough space for them. Use a separate box for each piece of jewelry to prevent the jewelry from rubbing against each other and scratching their surfaces.
