This rug is hand-woven from linen yarn, so it combines the artist’s meticulousness and creativity, the weaving traditions preserved from the past, and the naturalness of linen. The pattern of the longer threads depends on the location of the rug – if it is laid on the floor, the taller threads will become tangled and compressed over time. It is therefore recommended to choose a shorter (or plain) pattern for a floor carpet, while a wall carpet can be used in all its glory, i.e. in any pattern length.
