Scarf made of natural silk, decorated with natural plants. Wild silk is special in that it is obtained from silkworms living naturally in nature. Unlike regular silk, it is stronger, slightly coarser and has a natural, matte shade. Plain weave silk fabric, in its appearance it resembles cotton or linen. Wild silk is characterized by unevenness, but is fresher and less wrinkled, has more organic softness and coolness. Perfect for any weather and any time of year! In addition, its production is often considered more environmentally friendly, as it is less controlled by man.

Natural wild silk is obtained from wild Tussah silkworms, which feed on various forest materials. Cocoons from wild silkworms are collected after the butterfly has already left the cocoon, so the fibers are shorter and thicker. Wild silk is exceptionally strong, durable, absorbs moisture well, is hypoallergenic and antibacterial, and has a high content of amino acids that can soothe the skin.

This unique, one-of-a-kind, handmade shawl is dyed with natural plants and silk dyes.

Natural silk is a fine, light and soft fabric that feels good against the body. Silk is almost as warm as wool and five times warmer than cotton, so you won’t be cold even in the winter with this accessory.

CARE:

Silk products must not be drilled, rubbed or machine washed.
After rinsing, roll in a sheet, press and iron when barely damp.
Sometimes, the water may (not necessarily) lightly discolour the product during washing – there is no need to worry about this, as the colours of the product will not fade.
Silk absorbs odours, so it is recommended to air out silk products before putting them in the wardrobe.
